Senior Level Verification, Validation, and Accreditation (VV&A) Engineer/Analyst

In support of the new Software Mission Assurance contract supporting S3I, Bluehalo is hiring software and simulation engineers and analysts for multiple positions providing Software Mission Assurance Support. Our team supports S3I in the planning, coordination, and execution of independent software and simulation evaluations of tactical weapons systems, aviation and flight ground systems, embedded applications, trainers, support applications, and field/operational support applications. The position requires the ability to conduct assessments in phase with M&S development, and address customers’ changing needs, and varying priorities.  Candidates must be cognizant of modern verification, validation, and accreditation concepts, current computing hardware technology, and current and evolving software development and system engineering issues. Specifics are as follows:

• Performs planning, assessment, evaluation, and documentation services for accrediting models and simulations.  Experience in MDA, PEO Missile and Space, and/or Sensor model accreditation required.  Great ability to document processes and present/document findings and analysis
• Performs validation of M&S based on key performance parameters and acceptability criteria. Develops and utilizes analysis scripts to determine the degree to which the simulations represent that tactical system. Develops technical memorandum, reports, and briefings that detail the analysis, findings, root cause investigation, limitations and caveats of the M&S. 

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent technical degree
• Minimum 5 years related software scan experience using tools on DoD systems, such as Patriot/PAC3, GMD, THAAD, LRDR, C2BMC.
• Desired MDA M&S accreditation experience
• Some travel possible
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

• The candidate must be able to work within a collaborative environment composed of Government, Prime Contractor, and Supporting Contractor personnel
