Electrical Engineer

Engineer with a focus on RF hardware / firmware / software design and integration. Extensive experience with FPGA and RTL design using VHDL and Verilog including timing closure, Xilinx toolsets, and high-speed data transfer and storage protocols. Experience includes designs using PCIe, Aurora, I2C, SPI, AXI, and JESD204B.  Experience with design and fabrication of power and control electronics. 

• Extensive Experience with VHDL/RTL Design using Xilinx Vivado Toolchain 
• Extensive Experience in Linux OS 
• Extensive Experience in C, C++, Python, Java, MATLAB 

• Experience interfacing high-speed FPGA protocols (PCIe, Aurora, I2C, SPI, AXI, JESD204B) 
• Experience in PCB Design, and SMD/SMT soldering 
• Experience with OpenCV, OpenGL, and Android API’s 

1. Qualifications:  

• Electrical Engineer 
• Able to work from our workshop and office in Huntsville, Alabama. 
• Hands on experience 
• You have experience with robotics, drones, flight control systems or other electromechanically actuated devices. 
• You have experience with embedded systems. 

• Reliable, organized, forward-thinking and willing to learn. 
• Self motivated. 
• Know the importance of good design and attention to detail. 
• Some experience in Altium and the different packages Altium 
• Able to work in a team environment. 

• Able to work non traditional hours. Schedule will not be hard set and you have to be willing to be flexible to work when needed. 
• Have great organization skills of electronic documentation, physical documentation, and hardware. 
• Have a passion for the product and desire to make an impact on the sector. 
• Have a very good hands on approach to engineering and is able to use normal hand tool and power tools. 
• Able to assist with moving the aircraft and other heavy equipment. 

• Must be able to obtain a Clearance
