  • Responsibilities

    AEgis Technologies is seeking a qualified Training Developer to work on a government sponsored engineering program.  The candidate will support the program training division by developing and delivering a training program to train a mix of institutional and organizational users. Candidate will apply the Army Learning Policy and Systems that manage the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) to create, develop, and maintain learning products for Military Occupational Specialties (MOSs), Areas of Concentration (AOCs), and professional development courses for Active Component (AC) and Reserve Component (RC) in all three domains (Institutional, Operational, and Self-Development) of Army learning as described by AR 350-1, Army Training and Leader Development. Must coordinate in various types of extension and institutional instructional materials and select the most cost-effective media mixes for presenting instruction; update and maintain POIs, lesson plans, Course Administrative Data (CAD), Army Correspondence Course Program (ACCP), institutional training materials and support to installation level troop schools; assess observations, insights, and lessons, in coordination with designated into curriculum for relevant training domains.

    Perform the following training activities related to the design, development, production and fielding of complex systems and equipment:

    • Develop initial and advance user training course materials.
    • Conduct initial and advance user training courses.
    • Develop training materials to train institutional and organization personnel to become qualified and certified on systems being developed.
    • Develop Government approved Training Support Packages IAW TRADOC Pam 350-70 to include programs of instruction, lesson plans, student and instructor guides, IETMs, software manuals, and training course administrative documents.
    • Conduct new equipment training IAW Army Regulation 350-1.

    New Employee Success Factors

    • 30 days Successfully accomplish all on-boarding tasks, security paperwork submitted, and all mandatory training completed. Candidate will review and demonstrate understanding of team processes and procedures.
    • 60 days Interact with team and other teammates successfully supporting requirements completion activities, complete security documentation review.
    • 90 days Under minimum supervision develop expertise in the suite of tools and regulations used to support the customer.



    • US Citizen with active Top Secret Clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility and background investigation within the last 5 years. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain all required security clearances and program specific accesses as a condition of continued employment. 
    • 6-10 years relevant experience.
    • 5+ years of related training experience with DoD programs.
    • Understanding of (experience with) Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) PAM 350-70 Army Learning Policy and System
    • Must be willing and able to travel as required.
    • Broad understanding of Defense Contract artifacts such as the SOW, contract attachments, CDRLs, DIDs, categories of technical data, and of non-technical program data, etc. 
    • Working knowledge of relevant engineering standards, manufacturing, subcontract and supply chain processes in a defense environment.
    • Excellent computer skills with MS Office suite to prepare reports and documents. 
    • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. 
    • Attention to detail, coupled with good time management and organization skills.
    • Sound interpersonal skills for interfacing and coordinating with company personnel, customers, and suppliers.
    • Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations

    Desired Skills:

    • Overall broad knowledge, skills and experience in multi-function ILS and training disciplines:
    • Army operations and maintenance process and resources familiarity.
    • Experience with IMI and Multi-Media training and operational products.
    • Oversight functions assigned to manage additional contractor personnel staff; manage the handson, daytoday accountability of contractor personnel and their work assignments.
    • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Program start-up experience
    • Willingness and ability to travel as required to meet organizational goals and objectives.
    • Experience in use of Adobe Acrobat, and/or interactive electronic technical manuals (IETMs).
    • Knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel programs

    Required Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
