SYSTEMS ENGINEER BMDS Warfighter Technical Interface

MDA Director for Engineering (DE) Engineer applies engineering knowledge and processes to understand the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) and interpret missile defense engineering modeling results in terms of documented BMDS effectiveness metrics. Should have working knowledge of the systems engineering process.. Must have Modeling, Simulation and Analyses experience. Uses Microsoft Office skills (specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word), and is willing to learn other programs as needed. Should have a basic understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) classification guidelines. This Engineer is capable of working independently or supporting teams to solve missile defense related problems, and capable of receiving daily supervision and direction, as dictated by the tasking/situation, in a dynamic environment. This engineer will also provide engineering support to BMDS initiatives involving Combatant Commands (EUCOM, PACOM, STRATCOM etc.), Allies, and Friends.
