    Responsibilities

    AEgis Technologies Group, Inc. needs a Test Engineer capable of designing hardware and software for automated test equipment (ATE). The Systems Integrator/Software Developer will be responsible for the design and development of automated test systems primarily using LabVIEW and TestStand. The automated test equipment (ATE) uses mass interconnect connectors and Interface Test Adapter (ITA) for testing a verity of Units Under Test (UUT). The effort will include requirements modifications and development, process flow design, user interface specification, programming, simulation testing and implementation of one or more sub-systems under development. The candidate will work on a team comprised of AEgis and end-customer personnel.

     

    New Hire Success Factors

    • 30 days: Complete necessary training for Sandia email and physical access and begin building API functions in LabVIEW.
    • 60 days: Integration into team and ownership of 1 to 2 code modules.
    • 90 days: Complete the development of 2 DUT API’s. In addition, there shall be progress on next scheduled deliverables. 

     

    Qualifications

    Skills Required:

    • Expertise in LabVIEW and automated control and measurement systems
    • Expertise in National Instruments hardware platforms
    • Experience object-oriented programming languages, NI TestStand, and MS Office
    • Experience working in collaborative environment
    • National Instruments certification (CTD, CTA) is a plus

    Minimum Requirements:

    • B.S. College Degree: computer science, electrical engineering, or related field
    • Minimum of 2 years working experience
    • U.S. citizenship
    • Ability to obtain a Department of Energy (DOE) Q-level security clearance is required.
    • A current or recently inactive “Q" clearance is HIGHLY desired
