    Responsibilities

     

    AEgis Technologies is looking for a junior-mid level software test engineer to perform testing/development activities on the C2BMC Defense Design Planner. Specific areas of responsibility include:

    • Develop end-to-end and integration automated test suites.
    • Build and maintain the test automation suite using Typescript, Jenkins, Docker and AWS. 
    • Perform exploratory testing of new features and products.
    • Develop automated tests into our continuous delivery pipeline.
    • Document software defects, use a bug tracking system, and report defects to software engineers.
    • Work closely with the internal and external design/test teams in identifying problems.
    • Troubleshoot defects to determine root cause.
    • Produce periodic status and operational reports.
    • Occasional travel requirements (<10%).

    • 60 days - Has begun to contribute to development effort providing help with development.
    • 90 days – Has fully integrated with the team and able to perform tasks autonomously.

    Qualifications

    • Preferred/Desired Skills

      • Knowledge of programming in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, C++, JAVA
      • Experience with VueJS
      • Experience with NodeJS
      • Experience with Visual Studio Code
      • Experience with Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Confluence)
      • Experience with Nexus Repository Manager
      • Experience with Docker
      • Experience with AWS
      • Familiarity with Agile and working knowledge of Scrum
      • Familiarity with Windows and Linux
      • Previous BMDS experience
