    Responsibilities

    AEgis Technologies is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a project manager and deputy program manager for task orders issued under a large IDIQ contract. The role will require extensive coordination of a number of project team members in a multi-company organization which may require 1) coordination of geographically dispersed project teams, multiple product lines, and/or subcontractors; 2) Ability to oversee a team managing multiple,  concurrent tasks and ensure all aspects of each task are taking place on schedule and within appropriated budget; and 3) Overarching responsibility for project plan development and implementation, management of project cost, schedule and performance, and managing CDRL development and submission.

    Major Responsibilities

    • Ultimately responsible for quality of product and services, cost control, timeliness and business relations across awarded TOs
    • Ensure staffing levels are sufficient to allow to successfully perform all required work-scope
    • Ensure clear lines of communication are maintained at all times between TO personnel, company management and all key stakeholders and subcontractors
    • Ensure an adequate quality assurance program and process are in place and strictly adhered to for all products and services.
    • Lead and/or contributes to proposal efforts.
    • Possess a working knowledge of contractual issues relative to the task being managed relevant to scope of the work, deliverables required and their scheduling. Demonstrate a clear understanding of the challenges and expectations associated with managing a large and dynamic program.
    • Provide expertise in contract negotiation activities and understands contractual issues relative to the project being managed relevant to scope of the work and scheduling and subcontracts.
    • Prepares and presents presentations to internal management and to external customers.
    • Maintains knowledge of Project Management best practices. Implements relevant Quality Systems and applicable industry regulations. Maintains a working knowledge of and ensures compliance with applicable government and industry regulation

    New Employee Success Factors.

    • 30 days: Onboard, complete all mandatory training, obtain program security reads
    • 60 days: Assume responsibility for CDRL overview, and coordinate risk management processes
    • 90 days: Actively participate in a major program review

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • US Citizen with active Top Secret Clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility and background investigation within the last 5 years. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain all required security clearances and program specific accesses as a condition of continued employment. 
    • 7-10 years relevant project management experience.
    • Demonstrated project management skills with ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders
    • Broad understanding of Defense Contract artifacts such as the SOW, contract attachments, CDRLs, DIDs, categories of technical data, and of non-technical program data, etc. 
    • Working knowledge of relevant engineering standards, manufacturing, subcontract and supply chain processes in a defense environment.
    • Excellent computer skills with MS Office suite to prepare reports and documents. 
    • Attention to detail, coupled with good time management and organization skills.
    • Sound interpersonal skills for interfacing and coordinating with company personnel, customers, and suppliers.
    • Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
    • Must be willing and able to travel as required.

    Desired Skills:

    • Army operations and maintenance process and resources familiarity.
    • Oversight functions assigned to manage additional contractor personnel staff; manage the handson, daytoday accountability of contractor personnel and their work assignments.
    • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel programs

    Required Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
