    Position is part of an established team responsible for Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Ground Test (GT) design and planning for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), specifically Engineering Test and Performance Analysis (EET). Ideally, a highly qualified candidate will have knowledge of the BMDS and product toolset development and maintenance, be able to efficiently generate analysis tools as needed, possess the desire and capability to utilize existing team developed tools, and quickly learn processes and procedures for GT design, and provide quality control oversight of designs and product tool-sets.    


    New Employee Success Factor:

    • 30 days Develop familiarity with our process and terminology for scenario design, as well as the process for product generation
    • 60 days Shadow a designer during the stakeholder review process, gaining an understanding of the steps that must be taken to achieve a successful stakeholder review. Shadow the creation of a Scenario Matrix from a design, as well as the subset of charts for one AR
    • 90 days Contribute a portion (one KTP) of one AR on your own to a stakeholder review, mini-matrix, and review charts under the tutelage of an experienced designer. Assist in the creation of the scenario matrix for a major review.


    • Active DOD Security Clearance
    • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Physics, or similar technical discipline. 
    • Knowledge of BMDS (e.g., GMD, THAAD, Aegis, Patriot, CD, UEWR, SBX, TPY-2, etc.) and design domain; weapon system analysis experience; excellent presentation and communications skills; Microsoft Excel (with Visual Basic) subject matter expert.
    • Desired: Scripting (e.g. Perl, Python, MATLAB, etc.)
