    Responsibilities

    Aegis Technologies is seeking a Contracts/Subcontracts Administrator responsible for administrating and negotiating various government and commercial contracts and subcontracts in a dynamic environment.

    Contracts/Subcontracts Administrator will:

    • Prepare and negotiate contractual terms and conditions with customers
      Serve as negotiation team leader with respect to price and terms and conditions
      Assist functional departments in contractual interpretation and compliance
      Prepare and negotiate contractual related documents
      Assure compliance with all government laws and regulations
    • Serve as the official company interface
    • Oversee the Management of subcontract effort
    • Prepare Requests for Proposals and negotiate subcontract terms and conditions with suppliers/subcontractors
    • Prepare listing of potential subcontractors and suppliers

     

    New Employee Success Factors

    • 30 days: Complete all required training. Meet with Program Managers that you will support. Learn AEgis Systems, Products, Services. Learn Company Policies and Procedures. Understand the Programs and Files that you will contractually manage and support. Set goals with supervisor for the next 30 days
    • 60 days: Offer feedback of company processes and procedures, continue to build relationships with your colleagues. Identify potential mentors and mentoring opportunities. Continued training.
    • 90 days: Provide suggestions on strategies on growing in your job role. Identify three (3) specific initiatives. Take responsibility of three (3) major programs.

     

    Qualifications

    • Active Secret with ability to achieve Top Secret/SCI security clearance required
    • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field with 5 – 10 years of experience required.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.
    • Working knowledge of the laws and regulations applicable to government contracting including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) as well as FAR-supplements published by the individual acquiring government agencies, and export compliance.
    • Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) rules and Contractor Purchase System Review (CPSR) process.
    • Experience working with External Customers as a Subcontracts Professional
    • Demonstrate experience and understanding of the FAR/DFAR/ITAR in hybrid (FFP, CPFF, T&M) contract type environment
    • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Excel, and Word.
    • Possess good ethics and sound character
    • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills; and the ability to handle details, meet deadlines, and work independently under general direction
    • The successful candidate will be an independent self-starter, able to develop and carry out long term objectives and visions
    • Team player and ability to effectively interface with other functional departments is a must
    • Ability to manage large work-loads with quick turn-around
      Strong negotiation skills
    • Experience with Costpoint and, preferred
    • Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) rules and Contractor Purchase System Review (CPSR) process preferred.
    • Some experience with international contracting, preferred.
