    Assist the Cybersecurity Team with Certification & Accreditation activities, including:

    • Prepare or assist in preparing authorization packages and artifacts under multiple policies and frameworks (i.e. DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST, FedRAMP, HIPAA, DSS)
    • Compile system documents (technical orders, requirements specifications, interface control documents, configuration guides, etc) from multiple sources to provide evidence of system security baseline
    • Provide inputs to Security Assessment Plans (SAPs), Reports (SARs), and System Security Plans (SSPs)
    • Assist with system risk assessments and security baselining as appropriate
    • Support system assessments using Nessus, DISA SCAP tools, eEye Retina, and other tools as required
    • Monitor mitigation findings from monthly/quarterly vulnerability scans
    • Track test progress and write notes and assessments on test results
    • Assist in preparation IACOE facilities and equipment for meetings, training, and test events
    • Document temporary deviations from the approved IACOE baseline to support training and testing events, and return system to baseline configuration once events are complete
    • Provide documentation of changes to system and risk analysis of builds for customer base
    • Participate with working groups, consisting of both technical and non-technical personnel, charged with developing C&A documentation packages.
    • Candidate must be able to work autonomously and in a team environment.

    • 60 days Complete understanding of AEgis processes (IA, Agile) and able to execute internal AEgis IA related tools and software. Shows adaptation to schedule of required events.
    • 90 days Able to operate semi-autonomously and has shown consistency in producing quality and timely deliverables.


    • MS Office suite of tools experience required.  Previous experience with cybersecurity policy, security control validation, and industry-standard tools (Nessus, metasploit, Wireshark, etc) highly desired.  Basic knowledge of programming, servers, networking, and linux is beneficial.


      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
      • Certification in Network or OS technology implementation required: A+, Network+, Security+, MCP, Linux+, etc.
      • Additional certifications and training may be required based on contract assignments.
      • Maintenance of required certifications.
      • Requires 3-5+ years of experience
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills, specifically with creating programmatic documentation, standard operating procedures (SOP) and granular process checklists
      • Excellent planning, organizing, scheduling, and progress reporting skills
      • Excellent teamwork skills to collaborate with a diverse team of skilled systems engineers and cybersecurity professionals
      • Minimum current Secret clearance.
