    Responsibilities

     

    The Advanced Technology Systems Engineer will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Multi-Object Kill Vehicle (MOKV) group.  Responsibilities include:

    • Provide systems engineering support in interceptor technologies, Exo-atmospheric Kill Vehicle (EKV), Infrared Radiation (IR) seekers, and payload deployments.
    • Provide direct engineering support to the Multi-Object Kill Vehicle (MOKV) and the Hypersonic Defense Weapon Systems.
    • Provide technical support in developing and maintaining MDA systems interface specifications and associated documentation.

    Qualifications

    The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

    • Experience with MDA engineering programs and/or related Space and Missile programs.
    • Ability to decipher/comprehend complex technical requirements, specifications, and regulations.
    • Knowledge Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) interceptor technologies.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to serve in a leadership role e.g. take the lead on team task assignments and manage meetings.
    • Strong analytical and data assessment skills.
    • 7-10 years direct experience with B.S. in related engineering discipline (MS desired).
    • Candidate must have a minimum of a DoD SECRET security clearance (Top Secret desired).
