    Responsibilities

    Gather empirical data from experiments and tests, maintain, test, and repair system equipment, perform pre-, during, and post-mission ops checks on platforms, systems, and sensors. Maintain technical equipment such as RF receivers/transmitters for experiments and tests, processing and storage equipment, antennas, prepare maintenance forms and records, conduct detailed tests on electrical and mechanical equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, conduct operational checks on systems, coordinate logistics, participate in planning, coordinating, collecting, evaluating and interpreting data, operate and maintain test equipment and systems, repair lab equipment. Provide directed experimental support for conducting basic and applied HPM research, technology, and systems, provide design support, maintain operational readiness of labs, procure test articles or other equipment as needed, assemble new lab spaces such as RF walls or clean rooms, maintain labs in a safe manner, support the government in all inspections, monitor IAPs, maintain CTKs & tool control, AFTO 244s, equipment lists, PMEL items, and others as necessary.

     

    New EMployee Success Factors: 

    • 30 days - Candidate will successfully complete in-processing of all secure related activities resulting in access to Government resources.
    • 60 days - Candidate will become familiar with project processes, precedures, key issues/needs/gags. Identify solutions to mitigate risk/impact. Become certified on all systems/procedures req'd to support the program or identify a cert schedule
    • 90 days - Candidate will respond proactively in addressing program needs/gaps. Candidate will develop a list of program support tasks including scope/schedule and brief the AEgis PM for concurrence.

    Qualifications

    • Lab management skills and research experiments/tests experience required.
    • Currently DoD security clearance or ability to get a clearance required.

    Education required:

    • Professional engineering degree from an accredited school of engineering or Associates degree and 5 years relevant experience or
    • 10 years relevant experience
