Under minimum supervision and/or own initiative evaluates, designs, documents, installs, implements, tests, performs problem isolation and resolution, monitors, tunes, and sets standards as part of the Risk Management Framework Team. Maintains a complex range of computer network components and systems. Performs these functions across a wide range of network facilities to include: physical media, protocol stacks, hubs, routers, bridges, gateways, digital servers, line drivers, telecommunications transport facilities, mainframe VTAM, NCP (related software/hardware) and network management components. Provides client consulting and training on the interfacing and use of the network facilities to include Mission Command Information Systems. Plans and coordinates major computer network initiatives. Researches, evaluates, and recommends new computer network equipment and technologies. Utilizes monitoring, performance analysis, network management, software and hardware equipment to trouble shoot and isolate problems, gauge network performance, and trace data and protocol activity. Devises solutions to complex operational problems within the capacity and operational limitations of installed equipment. Develops and executes contingency plans for network software and hardware failures including isolated and major outages. Provides internal consulting, technical guidance, information and support to application developers, computer operations, workstation support, company management and departmental clients. Assists in internal training programs.

Must have a minimum of 15 years’ experience or a Bachelor’s of Computer Science degree
Must possess and maintain CompTia Security + certification
Must possess and maintain Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
Must have experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF) or Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP)
Preferred candidate will possess Red Hat Certified System Administrator certifications.
Must be able to install, administer, operate and troubleshoot various operating systems.
Must be able to write, test, troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade and repair simulations' hardware and software into new components and software revisions.
Prepares the equipment modernization lists and life cycle plans.
Experienced in configuring and administering networking devices such as routers, firewalls and switches and must be familiar with LAN/WAN networking protocols such as OSPF and EIGRP.
Must be able to travel in CONUS/OCONUS to support USARCENT exercise events in SWA.
