AEgis is seeking Physicist/Engineer with experience in electro-optical sensors, finite element thermal modeling and atmospheric laser propagation. The candidate will analyze data and effects, and perform mathematical modeling and software simulation in the above areas for ground, air and space systems.

Candidate will have a minimum of a Master’s degree and 10 years experience in optical and/or electromagnetic and/or atmospheric and/or thermal modeling and effects, and/or mathematical modeling and software simulation of ground, air or space sensor systems. Experience with simulation tools such as MATLAB, FRED, ZEMAX, ASAP, FEMAP, ANSYS, ABAQUS, LEEDR, HELEEOS or similar tools desired. ***Candidate with a current US Top Secret/SCI Clearance and SSBI strongly preferred. Candidate: 1) be extremely organized with strong multi-tasking and time- should management skills, 2) have experience as part of a cohesive team and be able to deliver the highest quality service, 3) be able to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
