    AEgis is looking for a full stack software developer with experience creating web based graphical user interfaces. This person will be developing a graphical representation of system and subsystems that monitor and control a large research accelerator. This individual will be highly skilled with object-oriented programming and capable of supporting back-end software in Python using a MySQL or PostgreSQL database. Front-end capabilities include JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, React.js, REST, XML, SVG, Ajax, Bootstrap, Web sockets, etc. This individual will be proficient with using Linux and Windows based operating systems.


    New Hire Success Factors:

    •  30 days: Complete necessary training for Sandia email and physical access.
    • 60 days: Attend weekly status meeting with Sandia SME(s). Prepare weekly status reports utilizing the AEgis template. Develop GUI concepts for review and approval by customer.
    • 120: days Functional demonstration of sub-system control through monitor and touchscreen displays. Complete required documentation and review with the customer.


    • The applicant must have 2 to 5 years of related work experience and have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study.
    • Knowledge of other object-oriented programming languages such as C++, C#, and Java is a plus.
    • Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, and Gimp to edit and create SVG images is a plus.
    • Experience using Python with django or wsgi is a plus
