    AEgis Technologies is seeking a mid level software/database engineer to support the development, evaluation, and testing of munition systems for the United States Air Force. This includes development of physics based simulations and simulation databases to support the full spectrum of testing to include: algorithm in the loop testing, integrated system simulation testing, component and system modeling, hardware in the loop testing, and certification of munition data bus modules and components. The successful applicant will work with senior personnel to develop models, simulations, databases, and support tools to aid in these tests. In addition, the applicant will be required to support the development of hardware and software interfaces unique to test units, including the development of Graphical User Interfaces (GUI). The applicant will be expected to document processes, procedures, and test results, and report these to their program supervisor.

    • 3-10 years of experience
    • Programming Skills such as Python, C++, MatLab
    • Aerospace, Computer, or Software Engineer, or Computer Science; B.S required
    • Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
    • Experience in advanced computational techniques (parallel programming in both GPU and CPU)
    • Database construction, report generation, data backup and maintenance
    • Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) development
    • Ability to work on a team with other engineers
    • Able to communicate ideas clearly and efficiently
    • Perform test and analyses validate algorithm/component performance
    • Perform simulation configuration management documentation
    • Understanding of Open Architecture Systems
