    Responsibilities

    Serve as lead engineer and subject matter expert (SME) for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Digital Modeling & Simulation (M&S) development and integration activity.  Engage in technical activities to assist with Digital M&S strategic planning, complex system representation, and analysis of alternatives for Digital activities and events.  Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in evolving missile defense applications including hypersonic glide vehicles. Support activities related to the identification and evaluation of Element-level Digital model capabilities, the integration of multiple models within a simulation federated environment, and the design and implementation of simulation data capture and analysis techniques.

     

     

    New Hire Success Factors:

    •  30 days Become familiar with MDA M&S policies and procedures.
    • 60 days Complete required government training, and support daily customer interaction.
    • 90 days Provide SME support to on-going Digital M&S planning and development activities.

    Qualifications

    • Understanding of models and simulations, particularly for Digital and Hardware-In-The-Loop environments.
    • Expertise in advance threat modeling techniques to include hypersonic glide representation.
    • Understanding of the MDA Systems Engineering practices and processes.
    • Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience
