    Responsibilities

    This position provides systems engineering support to the Threat Modeling Center (TMC) software application Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative and to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Operations Support (MDA/ESO) team.

     

    Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Coordinate with the M&S Enterprise Engineering team
    • Identify software application requirements that apply to the air breathing and ballistic missile threat domain
    • Communicate requirements back to the TMC software application team that will modify existing software applications or create new ones
    • Participate in the development of a system-of-systems architecture model
    • Ensure M&S requirements drive an integrated BMD System-level M&S capability

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • BA/BS in Engineering, Science, Math or related technical discipline with 5 years of experience
    • DoD Secret security clearance that has been active within the last 2 years
    • Must be a US citizen

     

    Experience Requirements:

    • Experience as a systems engineer
    • Experience in the threat domain
    • Experience in the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) domain
    • Experience with threat modeling software applications
    • Experience in the M&S constructive and virtual M&S domain
    • Creative thinking, problem solving, analytical thinking, and out-of-the-box thinking
    • Ability to work with a geographically distributed team of diverse engineers with differing perspectives
