The candidate will be part of a multi-contractor team to design and develop the next generation real-time multi-spectral scene generation using the UE4 gaming engine technology.

Duties include; deriving requirements form the existing real-time scene generation systems currently in use in the industry; contributing to the overall scene generation software design within the confines of UE4; building a working prototype using UE4; generating reports of findings from tests; creating and maintaining documentation on operation of the scene generation software.



  • Currently Holds an Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • The desired candidate will have between 8 - 12-year experience, however those with other appropriate experience will also be considered.
  • Degree in Physics, Math, Engineering, Computer Science or other technical degree.
  • Strong C++ and Linux skills.
  • Possess strong software architecture design skills, be proficient in C++, and comfortable developing in the Linux environment.
  • The candidate must be able to provide technical insight into establishing EO/IR scene generation requirements specifications to feed the new game engine design
  • Familiarity with physics-based scene generation terminology and methodology
  • Understand game engine technologies as it would pertain to EO/IR scene generation. Familiarization with UE4 would be considered a plus.
  • Excellent technical writing skills with good task organizational skills
  • Ability to develop or assist in the development of working scene generation unit prototypes



  • Have a working knowledge of C++ and familiar with GPU rendering concepts
  • Strong understand physics-based ultraviolet and infrared scene generation codes and concepts
  • Experience with real-time hardware-in-the-loop simulation
  • Experience with real-time code development concepts and real-time operating systems such as Concurrent Red Hawk Linux.
