Responsibilities

AEgis Technologies is seeking an experienced military analyst to work as an U.S. Army Central Command (USARCENT) G37 Exercise/Scenario Planner responsible for exercise design; Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) and script development; exercise planning and joint event life cycle (JELC) support; joint exercise control group (JECG) support; joint training analysis and instructional support; providing operational and strategic level planning; and managing, supervising, conducting analysis, and executing exercises from US Army Central’s (USARCENT) mission activity covering the US Central Command (USCENTCOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR) along warfighting functions.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Support in planning, designing, coordinating, synchronizing and executing collective training and exercises across the USARCENT Enterprise
  • Planning, coordinating, managing and executing exercises and joint collective training.
  • Providing exercise designs, scripts and the development of exercise scenarios and related Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) injects incorporating realistic threats and activities
  • Developing reports, briefings and recommendations to improve exercise and training efficiency and effectiveness, and identifications of shortfalls and gaps
  • Identifying deficiencies/performance gaps in SOF exercise and training programs and improvement recommendations
  • Developing fact sheets, briefings and other documentation associated with training and exercise events and activities
  • Support coordination and execution of exercise operations, mission rehearsals and assessments in Realistic Military Training (RMT) environments
  • Perform functional analysis to document complex process steps, tasks and their inter-relationships; provide post-exercise support

New Hire Success Factors:

  • 30 days:  Quickly integrates in the Aegis/ARCENT G37 team becoming valuable
  • 60 days:  Become a primary planner for a major exercise.
  • 90 days:  Attend a planning conference for a major exercise.  

Qualifications

  • US Citizen with current/existing security clearance
  • 12-16 years of experience with military organization and demonstrated experience working in contractor position supporting government customers
  • Support surges in work, such as staging multiple events simultaneously.
  • Availability for meetings, consultations and any related tasking and deadlines.
  • Ability to produce deliverables in formats as required by staff leadership. Formats may include standard Microsoft documents (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), electronic/soft copy matrices and/or web-enabled formats.
