Responsibilities

AEgis Technologies is seeking a qualified Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO).  The candidate will be the security subject matter expert for all assigned programs and be required to interpret and administer security requirements in accordance with contractual and government regulations.

Duties and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administration of security procedures for classified and/or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment for multiple, moderate to large sized contractual activities
  • Provide SAP security administration and management to program elements
  • Develop/prepare and/or modify, as necessary, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans, Subcontractor DD Form 254, and classified and/or proprietary test plans
  • Maintain SAPF/SCIF
  • Ensure adherence to the provisions of the Joint Air Force Army Navy (JAFAN) series manuals, NISPOM and DoD 5205.07 series manuals
  • Review articles and documents for appropriate classification markings
  • Conduct an annual accountable classified material inventory when applicable
  • Maintain Document Control and Media Control inventory and database
  • Assist in maintaining the program facility in accordance with JAFAN 6/9 or ICD 705 requirements
  • Coordinate with government agencies to obtain rulings, interpretations, and approvals for compliance with regulations
  • Coordinate with Cyber Security personnel to ensure Information Systems (IS) are DoD JSIG/RMF compliant
  • Maintain a visitor control program
  • Attend program meetings as security representative
  • Maintain reproduction and destruction capabilities of classified and/or proprietary materials
  • Implementation of COMSEC procedures and requirements
  • Conduct security indoctrinations, annual refresher briefings, and debriefings of personnel
  • Host classified meetings, discussions and presentations
  • Participate in security reviews and be able to compare procedures and/or regulations with actual operations in order to document findings and recommend corrective action
  • Investigate security infractions/violations, prepare reports and recommend corrective action to be taken
  • Respond to alarms and other emergencies to include after normal business hours and/or nights/weekends

Qualifications

  • US Citizen with current active TOP SECRET Clearance.  Must meet eligibility to upgrade to TS with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).  Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain all required security clearances and program specific accesses as a condition of continued employment. 
  • At least 7 years of Industrial Security experience
  • Understanding of NISPOM, Joint Air Force Army Navy (JAFAN) manuals and DoD 5205.07 manuals
  • The ability to work extended hours, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment as business needs dictate
  • Possesses extensive expertise, theoretical knowledge, and analytical abilities to synergize and apply personnel, industrial, physical, IT/IA and information security principals as they apply to Special Access Programs (SAPs)

Desired Skills:

  • DSS SAP certification(s)
  • Familiarity with JAFAN/JSIG
  • Must be experienced with Intelligence Community processes and procedures.
  • Must be knowledgeable of the NISPOM and associated controls/obligations
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Must have excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Ability to work independently with little oversight as well as within a team environment

Required Education:

 

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Security and/or Risk Management, Government and/or Public Policy, Information Management, or Criminal Justice, and seven (7) years or more of related experience preferred.  Additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
