AEgis Technologies is seeking a qualified Senior Program Control Analyst to work on a government engineering program and lead the program control team.  The candidate will provide direct support to the Program Manager for the execution of current and future business goals, contract execution, customer objectives and formulation of new business strategies while managing one to two direct reports.  Determines customer requirements and translates these into organizational plans which include the development of Integrated Master Plans (IMP), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Risk Assessments, Schedule Metric generation and reporting, and all activities related to execution of the Program.


The Senior Program Control Analyst is responsible for managing the pricing, estimating, and operational resources responsible for assisting with developing the cost volume, basis of estimates (BOE), work breakdown structure (WBS), organizational breakdown structure (OBS), project schedules, risk assessments, and other program-related plans and deliverables. Define schedule metrics and monitor schedule process. Review, compare, analyze and report schedule performance against baseline plans. Provide management with recommended and actionable actions to address variance and predict future performance.  Participate in the preparation of written cost and schedule variances, as well as maintaining the Integrated Master Schedules (IMS). 

One of the candidates primary functions will be to work with Program Management and Operations to establish an integrated baseline for the program, which captures resource, cost budgets and schedule milestones; and assist with the analysis, status and reporting against that baseline; to include ETC/EAC and variance analysis. The candidate must be able to understand and integrate the dependencies associated with the various baseline elements. 


Qualified applicant will have good communication (oral and written) skills and the ability to establish and maintain a close relationship with various functional disciplines within the business unit, as well as work independently and take a proactive role to assure that items are completed on or ahead of schedule. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office to include – Excel and MS Project. Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint and Deltek COBRA will be considered a plus. 


New Hire Success Factors:

  • 30 days.  Review project set up and recommend efficiencies to improve business processes
  • 60 days.  Prepare for Integrated Baseline Review (IBR), supervise monthly financial CDRL development
  • 90 days. Obtain necessary clearances and participate in routine business management (BM) – Integrated Process Teams (IPT) with the customer.


  • US Citizen with active Top Secret Clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility and background investigation within the last 5 years.  Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain all required security clearances and program specific accesses as a condition of continued employment.
  • 10 -12 years of experience implementing, maintaining, and analyzing monthly financial reports, project set-up support, budget and forecast ownership, profitability analysis, and cost estimates. Experience working with Federal Government is desired.
  • Candidates must possess a strong background working with multiple contract types: FFP, FPI, FPLOE, T&M, CPAF, CPFF, and hybrid contracts.
  • This position requires a working knowledge of Government Contracting, the Project/Program Control field, Cost Point and the ability to complete assignments of moderate complexity on time within a fast paced environment and the ability to learn new processes and tools.
  • Must be analytical, possess excellent communication, presentation skills and have the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Must be willing and able to travel as required.

Desired Skills:

  • Proficient in the use of personal computers with the ability to use MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with MS Project and Deltek COBRA.
  • Working knowledge of EVM.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Program Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science and ten to twelve (10-12) years or more of related experience preferred or years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
