Responsibilities

Network Engineer/Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate network data capture activities
  • Perform network protocol analysis to evaluate network performance
  • Develop network performance reports and briefings

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • S. Citizenship with an active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • At least 4+ years of directly related technical experience
  • At least one of the following certifications: Network+, CCENT, CCNA, CCNP
  • Proficient in the use of network protocol analysis tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump
  • Familiar with the use and implementation of Network Emulation systems
  • Self-starter that thrives in a dynamic environment, and works well within a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic productivity software operations skills (e.g. word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, etc…)

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Familiar with Missile Defense Agency classified and unclassified network topologies
  • Familiar with Single Stimulation Framework (SSF) or Objective Stimulation Framework (OSF) communications requirements
  • Experienced with Distributed Data Service (DDS) technologies, particularly OpenSplice
  • Familiar with BASH and/or Python scripting

Position requires that candidate possess a final security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to maintain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
