Responsibilities

AEgis Technologies Group, Inc. needs a test engineer capable of designing hardware and software for automated test equipment (ATE). This individual will be responsible for the creation and on-time delivery of items including but not limited to the following: planning documents, design documents, drawings, review documents, test related software code, test sequences, test hardware designs, reports and other responsibilities as directed by management. The automated test equipment will be designed to support board level, module level, and system level testing for product qualification, environmental testing, and field testing.

 

New Hire Success Factors:

 

30 days: Complete necessary training and paper work required for access to the customer’s computing environment as well as physical access to the customer’s site.

60 days: Attend semi-monthly status meetings with the identified customer stakeholder(s) and prepare semi-monthly status reports utilizing the AEgis template.

90 days: Deliverables that are due prior to the 90-day period shall be delivered on time with appropriate quality. In addition there shall be adequate progress on next scheduled deliverables.

                   

Qualifications

Skills:

  • Experience with Test Instrumentation and Automation
  • Experience with National Instruments LabVIEW
  • Experience with National Instruments TestStand
  • Experience with Object-Oriented Programming
  • Experience with PXI, Data Acquisition, Virtual Instrumentation
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Basic understanding of the fundamentals of verification and validation
  • Excellent technical communications skills
  • National Instruments certification (CLD, CLA) is a plus
  • National Instruments certification (CTD, CTA) is a plus

Minimum Requirements:

  • S. College Degree: computer science, electrical engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years working experience
  • S. citizenship
  • Ability to obtain a Department of Energy (DOE) Q-level security clearance is required.
  • A current or recently inactive “Q" clearance is HIGHLY desired
