AEgis Technologies is seeking a qualified Program Control Analyst to work on a government sponsored engineering program.  The candidate will participate in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting a prime contractor lead project of varying contract type, complexity, and level of risk. This individual will have a complete understanding and wide application of principles, concepts, practices and standards in Program Control and full knowledge of industry practices. Responsibilities include significant interface with project managers, senior technical staff, as well as other functional organizations including contracts, finance, accounts receivable, procurement, subcontract management, etc. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Reports detailed information, analyzes financial data in support of project cost/schedule status and presents briefings to program manager and customers as required.
  • Establishes Work Breakdown Structures (WBSs) and related dictionaries, Basis of Estimates (BOEs), Resource Loaded Networks (RLNs), detailed Budgets, and Earned Value methodologies as contractually required.
  • Develop and maintain estimate at completions, meet deadlines for submissions and provide ongoing status.  Track actual expenditures against program baselines.
  • Prepares cost reports for customers
  • Assigns labor categories and work authorizations
  • Assists in preparation of customer billings
  • Reviews and approves subcontractor billings
  • Analyze and reconcile cash flow, profitability, invoicing, Unbillables, costs on hold, subcontracts invoice and prepare commitment/accrual to validate current project status.
  • Ensure revenue is recorded according to the EAC and provide accurate data for inclusion in routine forecast plans.
  • Ensures adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley and all corporate policies and procedures as they relate to contract performance and financials.
  • Manage the project travel authorizations and budget.
  • Works on complex challenges; may lead and provide guidance to various levels of staff.
  • Performs assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives. Work is reviewed by management to measure meeting objectives.
  • Participates in new business proposals, project projections, analysis of requirements, and input to cost and management volumes. 



  • US Citizen with active SECRET Clearance.  Must meet eligibility to upgrade to Top Secret Clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).  Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain all required security clearances and program specific accesses as a condition of continued employment.
  • A minimum of 8 years related work experience related experience in accounting, program/project control, or contracts/subcontracts administration, experience with DoD programs a plus.
  • Experience in developing Budgets, Forecasts, and financial reports (FMERs, CFSRs, CPRs, and other financial reports.
  • Candidate will be expected to learn how to develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Microsoft Project and monitor and control projects using Earned Value Management (EVM) as well as the following Deltek tools: Costpoint, Cobra.

Desired Skills:

  • Proficient in the use of personal computers with the ability to use MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with Deltek CostPoint and COBRA preferred

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred from an accredited university required. Verifiable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
