Scenario Design Analyst to support MDA Rapid Scenario Prototyping (RaSP) scenario design team. Part of a team responsible for the analysis of scenario requirements and the generation of scenario designs based on these requirements. Duties include the evaluation of scenario requirements, and the analysis of blue force and red force performance capabilities and interactions required to perform initial feasibility analysis, and to generate formal scenario designs in support of MDA ground test hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) testing. Duties also include potential support to software tool development and testing and scenario design documentation.



New Hire Success Factors:


  • 30 days: Develop understanding of RaSP scenario design process, inputs, and design products
  • 60 days: Develop capability to analyze scenario design requirements in terms of Assessment Requirements (ARs), Critical Assessment Conditions (CACs), and Key Test Points (KTPs) and understand their use in scenario design process.
  • 90 days: Demonstrate ability to contribute directly to scenario design development and analysis for current ground test event.


BS or MS in Engineering, Physics, or Math with 5-10 years of experience. Experience in engineering analysis directly related to missile defense components and systems. Strong analysis skills including requirements analysis and systems analysis. MDA and BMDS experience required. Proficiency with MS Office suite required. MATLAB, Python, or other software development experience a plus.
