Responsibilities

AEgis is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Engineer supporting the Simulation and Analysis Facility (SIMAF) located at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. 

  • Support the assessment, maintenance, upgrade and testing of tools and processes that are both currently used within the environment and those being tested for later inclusion.
  • Contribute to developing products for redesigning and/or improving existing business processes
  • Support updated operating model adoption
  • Validate and support the adjustment of the operating model and associated tools.

 Success Factors (Success Factors are simply the results we want an individual to deliver, in order for us to consider them a successful hire.)

  • 30 days – Fully in processed within client space and access to all development platforms
  • 60 days - Fully integrated into daily operations of program
  • 90 days – Identify one improvement to development process or program

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering
  • 10 years’ experience in information technology operations to include systems engineering, systems integration, or business process re-engineering
  • Demonstrated understanding of the integrated intelligence mission and its contributions to the Intelligence Community
  • Self-directed and capable of collecting and analyzing data and rendering recommendations
  • Detail-oriented, with proven time management and organization skills (including the ability to engage in multiple tasks and meet deadlines/standards)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with DOD / IC policies, regulations, instructions
  • Security Requirements: Active TS/SCI security clearance required. If you don't have at least an active secret clearance you do need not apply
