Responsibilities

AEgis is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Senior Software Engineer supporting the Simulation and Analysis Facility (SIMAF) located at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. 

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading software development efforts in building constructive and virtual simulations used for the development of Training, Tactics, and Procedures (TTPs), Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Concept of Employment (CONEMPS), and for studies analysis.  Tasks include requirements analysis, design, development, unit and integration testing, and documentation.  Software development is performed using C++ and object-oriented techniques. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other engineering/scientific discipline plus 10 years directly relevant work experience. Master’s degree desirable.
  • The successful candidate will have experience using an integrated development environment (IDE) (e.g. Visual Studio, Eclipse, etc.) and be comfortable with both Windows and Linux environments.
  • Candidate must be a self-starter, very capable with multi-tasking, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills

Required Clearance Requirements:

 

Security Clearances. In addition to the basic contract PWS requirements, contractor personnel

will require access to Top Secret information Special Access Information and a security clearance

equivalent, as a minimum, to this level. All individuals supporting this task must have a final to

Top Secret with an investigation current within 5 years upon task award. Interim clearances or

outdated investigations are not acceptable to perform the duties of the task.
