Conduct 6DoF simulations of airborne systems. Take weapon from concept drawing or description and perform geometric modeling, aerodynamic data generation, auto pilot and guidance law tuning and/or development. Develop weapon simulations of varying fidelity in AFSIM to participate in AFRL distributed studies.

30 days: Become familiar with AFSIM and all tools associated with weapon modeling
60 days: Become familiar with current studies being performed
90 days: Able to conduct constructive studies in support of AFRL distributed tests
Engineering degree, preferably aerospace, mechanical is acceptable. Background in any science field, preferably computer science. Must be comfortable with developing software and writing automation scripts. Must understand configuration management of software. Be familiar with simulation and interaction with networks being utilized. 5 years of relevant experience.
